Audrey Jean Jurgens

Audrey Jean Jurgens, 73, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Monday, June 25, 2012, at Jamestown Nursing and Rehab in Rogers, Ark. She was born on June 23, 1939, in Milbank, S.D., to Raymond Siewert and Mildred Rolstad Siewert. She was raised and educated in South Dakota. She graduated from Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D. Audrey married Thomas Jurgens on Aug. 6, 1960, at St. Lawrence Church in Milbank, S.D. She was employed in the travel business for several years. They lived in Grand Island, Neb.; Amarillo, Texas; and Poteau, Okla., before moving to Bella Vista in 2006. Audrey enjoyed family, friends, tennis and church activities. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marilyn Panagiotou. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Thomas Jurgens of Bella Vista, Ark.; son, Brad Jurgens "Rhonda" of Fort Smith, Ark.; daughter, Julaynne Vaughan "John" of Edmond, Okla.; sister, Sheryl Seevers of Blue Springs, Mo.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
