Pat Burnett

Pat Burnett, 78, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born Nov. 11, 1933, in Elkins, Ark., to Patrick Henry and Eula Clark Burnett. He was a retired vice president for Ozark Forest Products and a salesman for Whit Chevrolet and Liberty Advertising. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and was a Baptist. He was an avid Razorback fan and loved attending the baseball games with his son. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Q. N. "Kit" Carson. He is survived by his wife, Lu Nell Burnett; two daughters, Patty Sanders and her husband, James, of Berryville, and Debbie Scoggin and her husband, Steve, of Fayetteville; a son, Mike Burnett of Tontitown; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Carson Ford and her husband, Dennis, of Hoschton, Ga.; a brother-in-law, James Hankins and his wife, Carol, of Missouri; two grandchildren, James Tyler Sanders and Jenna Marie Sanders. He was loved by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, June 18, at Moore's Chapel. Graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Fayetteville National Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel. Memorials may be made to Gideons International, P.O.
