Mitchell Jefferson Rogers

Mitchell Jefferson Rogers, 68, of Clinton, Mo., died at his home on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. Mitch was born on Sept. 9, 1943, to William Jefferson Rogers and Geraldine "Cox" Rogers in Bentonville, Ark. He worked for Ducks Unlimited until his retirement in June of 2005. Surviving Mitch is his wife, Judith, of the home; two sons, Jeff Rogers (Malain) of Mexico, Mo., and Heath Rogers (Annie) of Springfield, Mo.; four grandchildren; one sister, Jennifer Prophet (Ronnie) of Rogers; one sister-in-law, Mary Durand (Henry) of Pea Ridge; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Randall Rogers; and one granddaughter, Lucy Rogers. A memorial service was held June 8, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Clinton, Mo., with inurnment at the Englewood Cemetery, Clinton.
