Paul E. Bittick, 75, of Springdale, passed away June 9, 2012, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. He was born Feb. 6, 1937, in Cabool, Mo., to the late Rova Ernest and Della Fay Bittick. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He was a lawn and garden tractor mechanic and later worked as a security officer at Northwest Medical Center. He was passionate about fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Harold Bittick; daughter, Trudy Phillips and grandson, Toby Phillips. He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Dolores A. Bittick of the home; sons, Michael Bittick and wife Jan of Springdale, Tom Bittick of Springdale; stepdaughters Diana Billingslea of Huntsville and Belinda Hudson and husband Johnny of Rogers; sister Rovena E. Murphy and husband Jim of Fayetteville. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2012, from 5–7 p.m. at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Fayetteville National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Disabled Veterans National Foundation. Arrangements by Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale.
