William Isaac Lucas

William Isaac Lucas, age 8, died Monday, May 28, 2012, at his home in Pflugerville, Texas. He fought a long battle with a malignant brain tumor. He was born Oct. 23, 2003, to Thomas and Sara Lucas in Austin, Texas. He is survived by his parents; his sister, Darcy Johnson of the home; his grandparents, Andy and Shirley Lucas of Fayetteville and Joan Johnson of Massachusetts; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Rosary will be 7 p.m. June 5 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Pflugerville. The funeral mass will be Wednesday, June 6, at St. Elizabeth at 2 p.m. A celebration of Will's life sponsored by fellow teachers and community will follow the mass at Hendrickson High School in Pflugerville, where Will's father teaches.
