Mildred Markus

Mildred Markus, 91, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Ashley Health & Rehab in Rogers. She was a secretary and a homemaker. She loved playing the organ, quilting and playing bridge. She enjoyed entertaining and was well-known for her wonderful meals. Mildred was preceded in death by husband, Robert Markus; and one son, Robert Markus Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen; five cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Stockdale-Moody Funeral Chapel in Rogers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Mildred Markus to the American Heart Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
