Arnold Dale Warner, 89, of Bentonville, Ark., died Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Ashley Health & Rehab in Rogers, Ark. He was born on April 5, 1923, in Lyon County, Iowa, to William G. Warner and Lula Schwenck Warner. He married Arlene Lawrence on June 9, 1945, in Sioux Falls, S.D. Together they farmed near Larchwood, Iowa, until they moved to Bella Vista in August 1983. He served on the following boards: West Lyon Community School (president); Farm Service; Farm Bureau; German Farm Mutual, (president); Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Hills, Minn.; Larchwood Optimist Club, (president). He was a member (25 years) of the Bella Vista Community Church, where he served in a variety of volunteer roles, and is a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bentonville, Ark. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Arlene Lawrence Warner of Bentonville, Ark.; two sons, Lawrence Dale Warner (Glenda) of Larchwood, Iowa, Lee Andrew Warner (Karyn) of Redwood City, Calif.; three daughters, Joanne Warner of Portland, Ore., Luanne Warner Katz (Ken) of Salt Spring Island, Canada, Linda Warner Kimble (Michael) of Austin, Texas; three brothers, Ralph Warner (Betty) of Branson, Mo., Lowell Warner (Delores) Sioux Falls, S.D., Wilton Warner (Joyce) Minnetonka, Minn.; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday June 3, 2012, at the First Presbyterian Church of Bentonville.
