Ronald A Taylor

Ronald A. Taylor, 64, of Springdale, finished his time on this earth and went to eternity on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012. He was born March 13, 1947, in Lynchburg, Va., to Joseph E. and Ruth F. Owens Taylor. Ron served in the Air Force during Vietnam as a crew chief. He was a master electrician of 40 years and a construction superintendent. He was known for his hard work and professionalism. He was a 32nd-degree member of the Masonic Lodge in Monroe, Va., the Scottish Rite and the Optimist Club. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman. He was preceded in death by a sister. Survivors include his wife, Diana Taylor of the home; four children, Angela D. Mangum and husband, Steve, of Benton, Ark., Erin C. Matthews and husband, Jason, also of Benton, James Taylor and Scott Taylor, both of Springdale; four sisters; five grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends throughout the country. A memorial service will be 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Springdale; online guest book at heritageofnwa.com. Rest in peace, you gentle soul.
