Lonnie David Williams

Lonnie David Williams, 60, of Tontitown, passed away at his home on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012. David was born on Nov. 5, 1951, in Clarksville, Ark., a son of Lonnie Anderson Williams and Velma Lee Hagerman Williams. He married Sandra Jane Argo on Feb. 14, 1970. David was a mechanic for the Jones Truck Lines for 25 years until 1990 when he went into business for himself. He was an avid auction attendee and a member of the Teamsters Union. He loved socializing and had never met a stranger. He was well-loved by his family and friends, especially his granddaughter, Katie. David is survived by his wife, Sandra Williams of the home; two sons, Russell David Williams and wife, Patricia, of Bentonville, and Randy Reid Williams of Rogers; his father, Lonnie Anderson Williams of Springdale; his mother, Velma Johnson of Springdale; one sister, Reta Johnson of Springdale; one granddaughter, Katie Williams of Bentonville; and his faithful companion, his dog, Scooter.
