Dennison Fulton Yates Jr

Dennison Fulton Yates, Jr. beloved husband, father and friend, went to be with the Lord on Jan. 4, 2012. He was a very caring and loving man and will be missed by his family and friends. He was happily married to his high school sweetheart, Anna, for 48 wonderful years and was a devout Christian. Dennison moved to Bella Vista in 1995 from Little Rock, Ark. Dennison spent five years as prison evangelist, was ordained as a Baptist deacon. Dennison fought cancer for three years and even through his fight, he always stopped to pray with and help anyone he could. Dennison retired from J.B. Hunt where he loved working as a systems analyst. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eva Virginia and Dennison Yates Sr.; and his brother, Ron Yates. He is survived by his wife, Anna Yates; his daughter, Deanna Jones and her husband, Russ; his granddaughter, Jessica Hallermann, her husband, John, and their son, Cyrus; his sisters, Janice Estes and Pat James; and his brothers, Bill and Jay Yates. Dennison passed in Texas, where he was spending Christmas with his beautiful wife, Anna, beloved daughter, Deanna and her husband, Russ, and his granddaughter, Jessica, her husband, John, and their son, Cyrus. We will all miss him very much. The family would like to say a special thank you to Deanna’s best friend, Erielle Hagan, who handled all of the hospice duties for Dennison. She provided love and support to all of us and was a true blessing. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at the Bella Vista Funeral Home Chapel, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Ark.
