Marvin Ray Gillming July 28, 1971-Jan. 6, 2011 Mr. Marvin Ray Gillming, 40, a lifelong area resident of Lanagan, Mo., departed this life suddenly at 1:57 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, at the Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Mo. Marvin entered this life July 28, 1971, in Stella, Mo., one of two children born to the union of Marvin Ray and LaWanna Ray (Ibison) Gillming. He was raised in Lanagan, Mo., and was a 1988 graduate of McDonald County High School. Throughout his life he was most proud of his service to his county in the Army Nation Guard. On occasion Marvin attended Saturday Night High worship services at New Life Fellowship in Anderson, Mo. He was preceded in death by his sister, LaManda Stephenson and her two children, Tylon and Ravyn Stephenson; maternal grandparents, Wanda and Bobby Gene Duncan and Ray Ibison; and paternal grandparents, Howard Earl and Lucy (Bird) Gillming. Marvin is survived by his parents, Marvin and LaWanna Gillming of Point Blank, Texas; two sons,Nichlos David Jordon of Stark City, Mo., and Ryan Scott Gillming of Gravette, Ark.; as well as a host of other family and friends. Funeral service for Mr. Gillming was 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Bro. Tom Ellis of ciating. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Point Blank, Texas. The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Julia Lee Bequette Oct. 24, 1932-Jan. 7, 2012 Julia Lee Bequette of Centerton, Ark., moved to Heaven on Jan. 7, 2012. She was born Oct. 24, 1932, in Pratt, Kan., to Claire Martin Venters and Flavea Beatrice Munch Venters. She was employed with Wal-Mart Corporate Of ce for 20+ years and she was a lifelong beautician. She provided well for her family. Julia was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Leaving her family and friends with memories they will cherish forever. Julia was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Raymond B. Bequette. Survivors include two sons, Dale Bequette and wife, Sue, of Centerton Ark., and Paul Bequette and wife Gayle, of Jane, Mo.; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation was from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Stockdale Funeral Services in Rogers. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, at Benton County Memorial Park with Bishop John Benford of ciating. Eric Sebren Todd April 12, 1951-Jan. 1, 2012 Mr. Eric Sebren Todd, 60, of Lanagan, Mo., departed this life Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, at his residence after a battle with lung cancer. Eric entered this life April 12, 1951, in Lake City, Fla., born to theunion of the late Earl Sebren Todd and Alvia Virgie Waters. His formative years were spent in Lakeland, Fla. He resided in Lanagan, Mo., since 2006. He was a mechanic and also had his bachelorís degree in secondary education. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert Todd. Eric is survived by his three daughters, Holly Henson and husband, Bobby, of Joplin, Mo., Kaylee White and husband, Keith, of Lanagan, Mo., and Erin Porter and husband, Joshua, of Neosho, Mo.; a son,Joshua Alderman of Wichita, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; a brother, James Todd of the state of Georgia; a sister, Margaret Todd of Plant City, Fla.; as well as a host of other family and friends. Lyndel Floyd Arnall March 28, 1950-Jan. 5, 2012 Lyndel Floyd Arnall, a minister of God, has fought the good ght of faith and entered into rest Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012. He now rests until God calls him to eternity. He was born March 28, 1950, at Tipton Ford, Mo., to Floyd and Lora Arnall. One of seven children, Lyndel grew up mostly in the Joplin, Mo., area; attending school in Duquesne and Joplin High School. He graduated in 1968 after receiving honors for his work in drafting and sheet metal. In February 1969 he married Katherine Marie Ruiz. Knowing the call of the ministry on his life, he attended the Apostolic Faith Bible College in Baxter Springs, Kan. It was during those two years, daughter Lynette was born. He loved the Apostolic Faith Movement and was invited to be on staff. This is where he stayed for some 30 years, teaching different subjects and serving a term of Superintendent in the 1980s. Lyndel attended the Granby Gospel Tabernacle with his family. He enjoyed teaching the Adult Sunday School Class. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Marie Arnall; a daughter, Katherine Lynette Brown; a son-in-law, Charles David Brown; granddaughters, Molly Lauren Brown and Madison Sarah Brown; a sister, Walta and husband Tom Moore; a sister, Flo and husband Dan Byerly; a brother, John and wife Kathy Arnall; a brother, Richard and wife, Juanita Arnall; asister, Rae Mona and husband, Danny Robinson; and a sister, Lea Ona and husband, Marvin Essley. Visitation and viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the home at 10912 Hammer Rd, Neosho, Mo. Services was held at 10 a.m. Wednesady, at the Apostolic Faith Bible College, 1009 Lincoln, Baxter Springs, Kan., with the Rev. Fred Huff of ciating. Orpha A. Spears Anders Smythe October 1914-Jan. 11, 2012 Orpha A. Spears Anders Smythe was called home by her beloved Savior on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012. Orpha was born to William Turney Spears and Martha Caroline (Gibbins) in October 1914. Siblings were Leonard (Shorty) Spears (deceased), William Carl Spears of Grants Pass, Ore., Edith Martin (deceased), Zelma Armstrong, Beaulah Miller and Sylvia DeLois Casteel DeLor (deceased). Orpha was a member of the Cherokee Nation West and very active in her church, the First Baptist Church of Pineville. She enjoyed homemaking, and her joy was improving the landscape of any place she lived on earth. She was an expert seamstress and an avid reader. She inspired and amazed every life she touched and will be deeply missed by her family which included 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents; her beloved husbands, Melvin (Happy) Anders and William Smythe; two sons, Melvin Anders and William (Bill) George Anders. Surviving her are three children, Alberta Anders, Harold Anders and wife, Pat, and Barbara Williams and husband, Jack. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Dowd FuneralHome Anderson.
