Lucille Virginia Pressnall

Lucille Virginia Pressnall, 89, formerly of Sulfur Springs, Ark., died February 25, 2012. She was born July 24, 1922 in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania to the late David & Virginia (Patterson) Crawford. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and crocheting. She especially took pleasure in making afghans for her grandchildren. The garden was also a big part of Lucille's life and that lead her to open her own health food store. Most of all, she enjoyed being a pastor's wife. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. James Steele, of 31 years and Rev. John Pressnall, of 38 years; brother, David; and sister, Anna Mae. Lucille is survived by her daughters, Virginia Bunch and Margaret (Robert) Smith; son, James (Connie) Steele; granchidlren, Alicia (Jerry) Huston, James Bunch, Hannah Steele, Joakima (Dale) Culverson and David Steele; six great-grandchildren; brother, Thomas Crawford; sister, Katherine (Sam) Pico. Friends may visit 2-3 p.m. Sunday at Asbury United Methodist Church, 4760 Winchester Pike, Columbus, Ohio 43232 where memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Kevin Orr officiating. Inurnment Monday, 11 a.m., Greenlawn Cemetery, Chillicothe, Ohio.
