Imogene L. Kappler

Imogene L. Kappler, 91, of Farmington, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, in Springdale. She was born Aug. 17, 1920, in Wheeler, Ark., the daughter of James Andrew Neal and Nina Annis Johnson. She was a member of Farmington Church of Christ and was employed for 31 years as an inspector for Levi Strauss. She was also a member of Levi Strauss Retirement Club and past volunteer for the Farmington Senior Center. Survivors include a daughter, Melba Morrison of Farmington; son, Jim Carney of Farmington; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Farmington Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Mount Comfort Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel. The family will receive friends and family from 5 to 7 p.m. at Moore's Chapel today.
