Eric Lynn Hixon

Eric Lynn Hixon, age 44, of Springdale, passed away Feb. 26, 2012. Eric was born Feb. 6, 1968, in Tulsa, Okla., to parents, Dale Oldham Hixon and Doris Maxine Dickey Hixon. He grew up in the Tulsa area, where he worked in sales. Eric was an OU football fan and also enjoyed NASCAR and country music. Eric was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Hixon; two sons, Steven Hixon and Zachary Hixon; five daughters, Brittany Hixon, Destiny Hixon, Courtney Hixon, Layney Hixon and Amber Widlund; brother, Randal Hixon and wife, Angela; sisters, Dalene Bougio and husband, Phil, and Marissa Hixon and husband, Mike, Hubbard; five nieces; seven nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services are set for 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at the Redfork Church of God in Tulsa, Okla. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
