Anthony L. Bahar

Nov. 21, 1917 - Feb. 26, 2012 Anthony L. Bahar, 94, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Feb. 26, 2012, at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born Nov. 21, 1917, at Chicago, Ill., the son of Anton and Rose Cerer Bahar. He was a retired pressman for R.R. Connelly in Chicago, a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale, Ark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Violet Bahar, on Dec. 6, 2009. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Edward Bahar; and one sister, Louise Struteck. Survivors include one daughter, Mary Louise Bahar of Manhattan Beach, Calif. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 20, at St. Raphael Catholic Church with Father John Connell officiating.
