(Bessie) LaRuth Davis Ewing, 85, of Rogers, died Friday, February 24, surrounded by her family, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born January 15, 1927, the daughter of Oscar and Voisie (Lee) Davis. She was a member of Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church and retired from Rogers Municipal Judges' office. Preceding her in death were her parents and bro.-in-law Tony Machiavello. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Benjamin F. (Ben) Ewing of the home; son Michael Ben Ewing and wife Chris Gunn Ewing; daughter-in-law Lisa Ewing Berry; grandson Michael Ben Ewing, Jr. and Breanna Snyder, all of Fayetteville; granddaughter Nikki Ewing Anderson and husband Adam of Jonesboro and two great grandsons, Luke Green and Mason Ewing. She is also survived by three sisters Asa Lee (Patty) Machiavello of Memphis, Tenn.; Shirley Ann Torres and husband Ignacio of San Antonio, Texas; and Harlene (Keith) Bass and husband Don of Rogers, Ark.; 8 special nieces and nephews Lynn and Sean Keith of Rogers; Debbie Fulmer and Peggy Strevel of Atlanta; David Machiavello, Suzette, and Saundra of Texas, and Judy Guess of Memphis. One aunt Virgie Lee and husband Charles Sandage of Donaldson, Ark., and one uncle, Harley Lee of California. Special friends are Melaney and Scott Blundell of Texas, Ruby Lee and Deward Fulmer of Paris, Lester and Frances Davis and Joanne Woestman of California. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28 at Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church with Elders Carl Staten and H.D Fulmer officiating. Interment will follow at Little Flock Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4:00 - 7:00 Monday, February 27, at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Online condolences may be made at www.rollinsfuneral.com.
