Ana Aurora Mendez

Ana Aurora Mendez, 72, of Rogers passed away Feb. 23, 2012, in Rogers. Ana was born Aug. 13, 1939, in El Progresso, Guatemala, the daughter of Andres and Juana Angel Mendez. She was a homemaker and a member of Casa De Oracion Garcia Y Amor. Survivors: her children, Oralia De Alvarado, Bernarda Leticia Salazar, Isabel Amilcar Morales, Jorge Alberto Cifuentes, Ana Elizabeth Alvarado and Alma Noelia Merlos; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th Street, Rogers. Burial will follow in the Rogers Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
