Mildred Marie Collier

Mildred Marie Collier, 88, of Fayetteville died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Nov. 1, 1923, in Springdale to John E. and Angie Fletcher Roberts. Mildred worked at Sears in accounting and was a member of Cross Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Collier; one grandson, Kevin Oliver; one brother, Ray Roberts; and one sister, Thelma Haury. Mildred is survived by one son, Dennis Collier and wife Gail of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one daughter, Linda Oliver of Vacaville, Calif.; one brother, Louis Roberts and wife Sandra of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Dorothy Kovichek of Sacramento, Calif., and Joyce Johnson of Elkins; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Burkshed Cemetery with the Rev. Eldon Bagwell officiating.
