William E. Maloney

William E. Maloney, 48, of Fayetteville, Ark. formerly of Texarkana, Ark. died Saturday Feb. 11, 2012 at his home. He was born on Oct. 8, 1963 in Texarkana, Ark.. Mr. Maloney was a Catholic attending St Edwards Catholic Church when he lived in Texarkana and was a sales representative for Carpet One in Fayetteville, Ark. William graduated from Arkansas High School in 1982 and received his Bachelor Degree in Communications and Journalism from University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Ark. in 1986. He worked for the television station in Fayetteville for many years and was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan. Survivors include: his mother Betty Culver Maloney of Texarkana, Ark.; brother John Patrick Maloney of Little Rock, Ark.; six sisters and brothers-in-law Bridget and Mike Robinson of Texarkana, Ark., Pauline LeGrand of Wake Village, Texas, Margaret and Roger Gold of Texarkana, Ark., Kathleen and Mike Heflin of Wake Village, Texas, Mary and Edward Starling of Texarkana, Ark., and Dorothy and Alton Murray of Maud, Texas. Also a number of nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at St Edwards Catholic Church, Texarkana, Ark. with Rev. Paul Worm officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Tuesday Feb. 14, 2012 at East Funeral Home-Downtown with visitation to follow at 7:30 p.m. Memorials can be made to St Edwards Catholic Church or charity of choice.
