Joye L. Green

Joye L. Green of Springdale, passed away Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at the Willard Walker Hospice House, in Fayetteville, AR. She was 85 years old. Joye was born in Gehring, Neb., to parents George Cooper and Velma (Foreman) Cooper. She was married to Robert V. Green Sr., for 65 years. She is preceded in death by her parents and four siblings. Joye is survived by her husband, Robert Green Sr.; her daughter, Jeannine Fenton & her husband, Bob of Lowell, Ark.; a son, Robert V. Green Jr., & wife Shelly of Grand Island, Neb.; three brothers, Larry Cooper, of Bonney Lake, Wash., David Cooper, Grand Island, Neb., and Steve Cooper, also of Grand Island, Neb.; four grandchildren, Shawna Marler, Brian Fenton, Jody Johnson, & Raven Green; and three great-grandchildren, Lillian Fenton, Emily Fenton, Jeffery Johnson. Joye loved playing cards with family and friends, and was an avid Husker fan! There will be a service scheduled at a later date.
