Cora Lee Myers

Cora Lee Myers, 77, of Garfield, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at New Hope Health and Rehab in Rogers. She was born March 12, 1934, in Pampa, Texas, to Lee Coble and Della Marie Lovern Coble. She moved to the area in 1978 from Tyler, Texas, to make her home. She was a homemaker, a machine operator for Union Carbide in Rogers and was a Pentecostal. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lynn Myers; and two brothers, Clyde and Claude Coble. She is survived by a son, Dennis Myers of Garfield; a daughter, Karen Owens of Lowell; a stepdaughter, Lydia Ann Jowers of Brownfield, Texas; by her ex-husband, Harold Myers of Garfield; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside service is set for Monday 10 a.m. at Ruddick Cemetery in Garfield, with the Rev. Johnny Henry officiating. No visitation. Online condolences may be made at siscofuneralhome.net.
