Lorene Catherine Archer

Lorene Catherine Archer, 90, of Bella Vista, Ark., died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at Concordia Health & Rehab in Bella Vista, Ark. She was born on July 27, 1921, in Brooklyn, Iowa, to Peter George Keller and Mabel Elizabeth Shadel Keller. She was a member of Madison Church of Christ in Brooklyn, Iowa. She worked for Delta Zeta Sorority for many years and received an honorary membership. She worked in the publishing division of ABC/Disney for 12 years from where she retired. She moved to Bella Vista in 1979 from Des Moines, Iowa. She was a former member of Delta Beta Sorority, bridge clubs and 9 & 18 Hole Golf in Bella Vista. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by one son, Larry Archer of Coronado, Calif.; one brother, Laurel Keller of Brooklyn, Iowa; two sisters, Virginia Gardner of Glen Ellen, Ill., Wanda Stirmiman of Illinois; two grandchildren, Nathan Nelson and Eric Archer.
