Vergil Morse Slauson

Vergil Morse Slauson, age 81 of Rogers, passed away February 3, 2012. Vergil was born July 25, 1930 in Margaretville, New York to parents Orley Slauson and Effie Morse Slauson. He was united in marriage to Beverly Marie Roach on August 2, 1964 in New York. They enjoyed 47 years together. Vergil worked for many years as a plumber and was a member of the Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Vergil was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers and sisters and one granddaughter, Megan Neely. He is survived by his wife, Beverly of the home; four children; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date in New York. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
