Martha Sturm

Martha Ellen Sturm, 80, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at Washington Regional Hospice House in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born in Evansville, Ind., Oct. 4, 1931, the daughter of Anna M. Schuessler and Arthur J. Schlueter. She was an active member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Fayetteville, Ark. She was an office manager for over eight years for Brown Adjustment Service of Fayetteville. She was also a newsletter editor for the "Fayetteville Newcomers Club." She had lived in the Northwest Arkansas area since 1990 after moving from Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters. Martha is survived by: her husband of 60 years, Cyril Sturm of the home, whom she married Dec. 25, 1951; two sons, Lee Sturm and his wife Penny of Lafayette, Ind., Nathan Sturm and his wife Veronica of Cincinnati, Ohio; and one granddaughter, Eva Sturm of Cincinnati, Ohio. A memorial service will be Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at 2 p.m. at First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, Ark., with Pastor Phil and Pastor Jan Butin officiating.
