Martha Ann Perkins

Martha Ann Perkins, 65, of Springdale died Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born Dec. 5, 1946, in Springdale to Diven and Margie Clark Hendrix. Martha was a bus driver for the Springdale School System where she drove special needs children. She was a member of the Gospel of Peace Tabernacle in Springdale. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Perkins; and one sister, Patty Zachary. Survivors include five daughters, Betty Perkins of Springdale, Rhonda Cornelison and husband, James, of Hindsville, Sherry Erickson of Kansas City, Mo., Marleen James of Baton Rouge, La., and Paula Ellis of Brownsville, Texas; one brother, Jerry Hendrix and wife, Annette, of Johnson; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Gospel of Peace Tabernacle in Springdale with the Rev. Ray Main and the Rev. Bobby Main officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Pallbearers are James Cornelison, Jason Hendrix, Donnie Drummon, Donald Corter, Chris Smith, Chris Main, Austin Main, Hunter Cornelison and Guner Cornelison.
