George Donald Stahl

George Donald Stahl died Aug. 21, 2012. He was born Jan. 23, 1934, in Milwaukee, Wis., to George Eric Stahl and Beulah May Marige Stahl. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Doris Stahl Anderson. He was a contractor by trade, and also a restaurant owner for several years. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to fish and hunt with his dogs. He started, organized and participated in an "Annual Fish Roundup" in Bayfield, Wis., that provided a day's outing for fatherless low-income children. He was also a volunteer paramedic for Razorback games. He was devoted to the Love Bear Ministry that makes bears for the children who are seen in local emergency rooms. Funeral services will be held at Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Fayetteville, Ark., with Pastor Clint Schnekloth officiating at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, 2012.
