Ruth Ellen Warford

Ruth Ellen Warford, 64, of Elkins, passed away Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, in Fayetteville. She was born Oct. 15, 1947, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Theodore and Orpha Harris Guynn. She was a member of University Baptist Church, former Airline Stewardess, homemaker, and farmer. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Walton R. Warford Jr.; son, Walton R. Warford III; and her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Sarah "Katie" Richmond and husband, Cody of Elkins; one grandson, Walton Chance Richmond, of Elkins; two brothers, Ralph Guynn and wife, Sharon, and Rex Guynn and wife, Blair, all of Harrison; one sister, Rita Baldwin, of Fayetteville; eight nieces and nephews, and eight great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12 Noon, Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, at Beard's Funeral Chapel, with Mr. Paul Woodhouse officiating. Burial will be in the Fayetteville National Cemetery.
