Milrene Manning

Milrene Manning, 79, of Sparkman, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2011. She was born March 7, 1932 to the late Lester and Katherine Stone Tucker. Milrene was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. She enjoyed quilting, needle work, and was a great cook. The Mannings lived a simple life but enjoyed traveling. They traveled all over America as well as many foreign countries. The Mannings have been active in all activities of First Baptist Church, Sparkman. They attended church there even until the evening before she passed in her sleep. She celebrated her 79th birthday with friends and family on Monday before she passed. She is survived by her husband Murphy Manning of Sparkman, Ark.; son, Mike Manning and wife Sara Lou of Rogers, Ark.; daughter, Pat Harris and husband Randall of Pine Bluff, Ark.; two grandchildren, Randy and Gabe Harris of Pine Bluff, Ark.; and brother, Roy Tucker and wife Lesley of Rockport, Texas. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday at First Baptist Church of Sparkman. Burial will be at Sparkman Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
