Paul and Becky Owen enjoy being together but also know it’s important to spend time on their own. “You have to give the other person space in their own world. It was harder for me to do that,” he says. “She has her world, and I have my world, and we can bring those two worlds together and talk about them and tell what we did.”

Paul Owen and Becky Fraim were kept apart during P.E. class at Little Rock's Hall High in 1968, but they found harmony by a Coke machine.
