100-year-old ex-physician still enjoying his long life

Dr. James Post attended Colgate University and Yale School of Medicine while serving in the U.S. Navy. He later became the first board-certified pediatrician in the Fort Smith area. Post, 100, retired at age 75.

Dr. James Post of Fort Smith started his pediatric career making house calls for other physicians in the area.

That largely stopped when he started a practice and began seeing patients in his office and on hospital rounds.
