Walmart, others form advisory council for self-driving trucks

Walmart Inc. has joined with the Arkansas Trucking Association and several companies to make up a newly formed autonomous trucking council.

Kodiak Robotics Inc., which makes self-driving vehicles for the trucking and defense industries, established the council and also tapped executives from UPS, Werner Enterprises and Loadsmith as founding members.
