FAYETTEVILLE-- Certain trails of Centennial Park will be closed to the public starting Thursday to allow for hosting of the inaugural 2024 Ragnar Trail Arkansas, according to a city news release.

The trail-running relay race will be held April 19-20. Teams will set out to conquer three unique single-track trails, running up and around the trails of Centennial Park, as well as through the forest of Kessler Mountain.

Fayetteville Traverse (southwest and northeast portions), Learner's Permit, Junk Drawer and Fayetteville Traverse (Kessler northwest portion) will be closed during the race.

Spectating is welcomed but limited due to the event being a trail race. Carpooling or accessing Centennial by foot or bicycle is encouraged for spectators, the release states.
