CLARKSVILLE -- An airplane crashed Monday afternoon near the Clarksville Municipal Airport in Johnson County.

Airport Manager Jim Looney said the Ryan Navion aircraft crashed at the end of the runway around 2:15 p.m. as it was trying to go airborne.

All four occupants were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries, Looney said.

He said initial reports show the pilot lost power in one engine.
