FYI Calendar: Two new exhibits open this weekend at Rogers Historical Museum

“Influencers,” including works (pictured) by Sandra Spotts and Zeek Taylor, is the new group exhibit opening this weekend at Brews, 2 Pine St. in Eureka Springs. The show will run for six weeks. “All of us have been influenced and inspired by another artist or artists that in some way informed our own work,” says curator John Rankine, who asked 30 local artists to create a piece that pays homage to that influence while maintaining their own style and vision. Participating artists were also asked to write a short artist statement on that influencer and how that artist or artists affected and informed their work.
