Brittany Kelly assembles opioid overdose rescue kits Dec. 22, 2022, at mother Carrie Warren's house in Fayetteville. Kelly and Warren established the nonprofit Northwest Arkansas Harm Reduction to distribute the kits to the public in Benton, Washington and Madison counties. The kits contain Naloxone, an opioid disruptor, and basic instructions for its use in the event of an opioid overdose and are made available to anyone who would like to have one. Rogers paramedics responded three times in a 24-hour span in July to a man overdosing. He refused to go to the hospital after the first two calls and died of a fentanyl overdose.
