The Jones Center welcomed VIP guests to a special preview of the Worst Case Scenario Survival Experience touring exhibition June 8 at the center's JTL Shop in Springdale.

Organizers say the "hands-on, minds-on, immersive exhibition," based on the best-selling "The Worst-Case Scenario Survival Handbook," is a bilingual, STEM-based experience "that engages all ages and abilities in active problem solving and hilarious, full-body play."

"Guests rely on their tinkering and decision-making skills to conquer real-world challenges, from defusing a bomb and leaping from a moving train, to landing a plane, escaping from quicksand and outsmarting a mountain lion."

"As downtown Springdale evolves, the Jones Center is reimagining our 50-plus acre campus and how we can offer more opportunities for fun and learning. This exhibition is a start, and we are excited to welcome guests to the Jones Center and to the Worst-Case Scenario Survival Experience this summer," says Terri Trotter, president and CEO of the Jones Center. The exhibition runs through Oct. 14.

For a limited time, the center is offering a Jones Discovery pass, "which includes access to the Jones Center Ice Arena (skates included) and pools during public sessions and member sessions, as well as the temporary exhibition at the JTL Shop for all members and family." For more information, contact the Guest and Member Services team at [email protected] or (479) 756-8090.

The Jones Center is also holding more than 30 summer camps for Northwest Arkansas children through Aug. 11. Camp offerings include Amazeum Camps at The Jones Center, Trike Theatre Experience, Introduction to Basketball Academy, Ice Skating Skills Camps, Learn-to-Ride, and Wize Computing Academy Coding Camps. Organizers say: "The Jones Center's affordable and accessible summer camps are designed to keep kids active and learn a new skill." For more information, visit thejonescenter.net/camps.
