Freezing weather is on the way to Northwest Arkansas, forecasters say.
A freeze warning has been issued for early Thursday from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
The service predicts a low temperature of 28 degrees overnight in Fayetteville.
"With the growing season getting underway, precautions should be taken to protect small plants and tender vegetation," the service said on its website.
