The Arkansas Department of Transportation will hold an online public meeting Thursday about a proposal to widen a section of U.S. 49 through Paragould to four lanes from two with a painted median.
Interested people will have the opportunity to ask questions and make comments during the live virtual presentation from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the following link: https://bit.ly/3ifBh8N.
The website will have material and handouts about the project that would have been shown at in-person meetings. The website also will available for comments until 4:30 p.m. Feb. 5.
