Siloam Springs 5, Huntsville 2

Isaac Price went 2-for-4 with a double and drove in three runs to lead the Panthers to their first win of the season.

Three different Panthers combined to limit Huntsville to a run on four hits and strike out 14 Eagles. Taylor Pool earned the win, allowing a run on one hit over 3.2 innings. He struck out seven and walked three.

Jacob Gilbert picked up the save, pitching 2.2 scoreless innings. He allowed two hits, struck out five and walked one.

Charleston 3, Prairie Grove 2

The Tigers claimed a season-opening win by scoring all of their runs in the fourth inning to edge Prairie Grove.

Brayden Ross went five innings to earn the win, allowing seven hits with seven strikeouts. Brett Ward earned the save with two perfect innings.

Kaden Benge was 2-for-4 with two doubles for Charleston. Warren Pillstrom and Ross each added a double.

Life Way Christian 11, Providence Academy 3

The Warriors blew open a 3-3 game with eight runs in the top of the eighth inning.

Luke Melton had two hits to lead the Warriors and Cole Bonds and Stephen Smith drove in two runs each.

Sam McAlister had an RBI single for Providence.

Girls

Harrison 2, Prairie Grove 1

Sydney Shrum provided the scoring as Harrison defeated Prairie Grove in a nonconference match between the two 4A-1 Conference teams Tuesday night.

Shrum gave the Lady Goblins (2-2-2) a 1-0 halftime lead with her first goal, then scored what proved to be the game-winner in the second half.

Harrison returns to action today with a nonconference match against Huntsville.

Bartlesville, Okla 1, Bentonville 1 (7-6 PKs)

A 10th penalty kick became the determining factor Tuesday night as Bartlesville edged Bentonville in an out-of-state matchup.

Ginger Olson provided the lone goal in regulation for Bentonville (2-3) and scored one of the Lady Tigers' penalty kicks. Lola Sommer, Emma Luebker, Grace Rodrigues, Ana Michaelis and Morgan Schaefer each scored on penalty kicks during the shootout, while Olivia Brown had three saves during the shootout.

Bentonville returns to action Friday in the Greenwood tournament.

Boys

Bentonville 9, Fort Smith Southside 0

Elliott Nimrod and Hudson May each had two goals as Bentonville stormed to an 8-0 halftime and cruised to a nonconference win over Southside at the Tiger Athletic Complex.

Bryce Mills, Frankie Suchara, Andrew Wagner, Jack Sommer and Harrison Kitson each had a goal for Bentonville (2-2), which hosts Bryant in nonconference action Friday.

Harrison 2, Prairie Grove 1

Harrison picked up its first win of the season as the Goblins defeated Prairie Grove in a nonconference match between the two 4A-1 Conference schools.

Jack Fenn and Max Payne provided the scoring for Harrison (1-4-1), which led 1-0 at halftime.

The Goblins return to action Thursday with a nonconference match again Huntsville.
