HOT SPRINGS -- Police are investigating the homicide of a man who was found shot to death inside his car Saturday morning, Hot Springs police said in a release Monday.
Officers responded to the intersection of Mica and Maiden streets about 10 a.m. Saturday for a welfare check on a car parked there with a man inside.
Upon arrival, they found Tristan Smith, 23, of Hot Springs in the back seat of the car deceased "from an apparent gunshot wound," the release said.
"Detectives are currently following up on several leads and interviewing witnesses," Cpl. Joey Williams, the department's public information officer, said in the release.
