Four-run innings help Arkansas to DH split

The University of Arkansas (11-2) defeated Boston University (11-4) 10-2, then lost 5-0 to Montana (6-8) in the Razorback Invitational at Bogle Park in Fayetteville on Saturday.

In the first game against Boston, the Razorbacks scored four runs in the third inning and four runs in the sixth inning. Hannah McEwen led the Razorbacks by going 3 for 4 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI. Braxton Burnside went 2 for 2 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBI. Kayla Green went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI.

Autumn Storms (6-0) allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 6 innings.

In the second game, Montana scored five runs in the first inning off Jenna Bloom (1-1) who only got two outs.

Kendall Curtis had a two-run double in the first inning. Julie Phelps and Brooklyn Weisgram also had RBI singles to spark Montana.

Michaela Hood (1-4) allowed three hits while striking out six in a complete-game victory.
