Repairs require closings of Beaver Bridge

Replacing the timber deck and railing on the Beaver Bridge on Arkansas 187 over the White River will require temporary closure of the bridge for about three months, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation officials.

Crews will temporarily close the bridge as follows, Monday through Thursday, except on holidays:

• Phase I - Starting Wednesday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Expected two-week duration.

• Phase II - Upon completion of Phase I, Mondays 9 a.m. continuously through through 5 p.m. Expected three-month duration.

Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones and signage.
