Wrong-way-driver calls lead to arrest

State troopers arrested a Little Rock man early Wednesday on accusations that he drove the wrong way on Interstate 430, a report said.

Troopers arrested Cesar Bordon-Avalos, 34, just before 3 a.m. Wednesday after numerous 911 callers reported a vehicle traveling south in a northbound lane of I-430 near Colonel Glenn Road, the report said.

Bordon-Avalos told officers he had been drinking beer earlier, and the troopers said Bordon-Avalos had watery, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech.
