BENTONVILLE -- A Rogers woman is being held on $150,000 bond after she was arrested in connection with raping another woman.

Kersha Renee Johnson, 41, was arrested last week. She was ordered not to have any contact with the other woman.

Prosecutors have not filed a formal charge against Johnson.

The woman told a Benton County Sheriff's Office detective that Johnson called her for help, and she went to Johnson's home, according to a probable cause affidavit.

She said she attempted to talk with Johnson, who pulled down her top, according to the affidavit. Johnson also pulled down the woman's pants and underwear and touched her inappropriately, according to the affidavit.

The woman said she left Johnson's home, but Johnson later came to her house and exposed herself, according to the affidavit.

Johnson denied touching the woman except for hugging her, but later admitted to engaging in sexual contact with the woman, according to the affidavit.

Johnson's arraignment is scheduled for 8 a.m. June 24 in Benton County Circuit Judge Brad Karren's courtroom.
