Readers who would like to try their hands at any of the four word games Wordsmith.org used in its anniversary contests are welcome to share their original efforts with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
If response suggests readers are interested, especially enjoyable submissions will be published in a new occasional featurette in Style: Word Up.
The games are coin-a-word, limerick, pangram and anagram, and they are explained HERE.
Email or mail your efforts. All simply must be your own work, and to avoid embarrassment it is wise to check the Internet to ensure you haven't duplicated someone else's work.
Submissions should include your first and last names and a phone number editors can call to verify that you do exist and that you understand the newspaper will not compensate you for allowing us to publish your work in print and on our website beyond the modicum of glory that attends being published in the statewide daily newspaper. We will not save your contact information, nor will we convey it to marketers.
