BENTONVILLE — A Rogers man was found Saturday floating face down in Beaver Lake and was pronounced dead at a Bentonville hospital.
Jeffrey A. Wolff, 57, was taken to Northwest Medical Center, according to a news release from Keith Stephens, chief of communications for the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
A boat was found at 12:30 p.m. Saturday floating by the Arkansas 12 boat ramp on Beaver Lake, and a trailer and vehicle were found at the ramp. The vehicle was still running, according to the release.
Wolff was found floating in the water 50 yards from the shoreline, according to the release.
According to the release, it is not known whether it was a boating accident or health issue. The toxicology report will take from six to eight weeks, the release states.
