Anniversary feted for foster nonprofit

Foster families who provide therapeutic foster care to children with emotional or behavioral problems were among those honored at Treatment Home's 36th Anniversary Gala on June 4 at the Governor's Mansion.

Mary and Mark Woodville, who are retiring after 35 years as therapeutic foster parents, were presented with the Angel Award. Brenda and Herman Banks were recognized as the Family Focused Treatment Association Family of the Year.

A Make a Difference Award was given to the Junior League of Little Rock for its work and commitment to children. Former board member Allan Ward, who was unable to attend, was honored for his many years with the organization.

The evening included a seated dinner, live and silent auctions and entertainment by James Horton. Rodney Crownover served as master of ceremonies.
