A victim was identified in a homicide case in Fort Smith.
Police responded Monday night at 7:27 p.m. to the 1400 block of North Greenwood Avenue to investigate a homicide, according to the release.
Jose Ruben Botello was pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to a news release from the Fort Smith Police Department.
The police are interviewing a person of interest.
