The Beaver Lake Fire Department responded to the Highway 12 bridge Sunday morning for a water rescue, according to Chief John Whisenant.

At approximately 9:25 a.m. a man fell into Beaver Lake from the Highway 12 bridge east of Rogers. When the fire department arrived they found three men underneath the bridge in the water.

Two of the men jumped from the bridge to help rescue the first man that fell into the water.

The Beaver Lake Fire Department Facebook page posted, "Thanks to the two gentlemen who witnessed the event and entered the water, leading to a successful outcome of this incident."

The man was transported to the Highway 12 boat ramp where an ambulance transported him to the hospital.

Chief Whisenant said from all appearances it was an accident.
