All-state player completed 283 of 402 passes for 3,151 yards and 37 TDs

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Cole Joyce, Bentonville High, LB, Jr., 6-2, 225

Earned all-state honors after recording 104 total tackles, 3 quarterback sacks, broke up eight passes and forced two fumbles.

NEWCOMER OF THE YEAR

Ariel Bradic, Bentonville West, LB, So., 5-8, 164

Finished the season with a team-high 149 tackles (96 solos, 53 assists) and 21 tackles for loss and added 4 quarterback sacks.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Jody Grant, Bentonville

Guided the Tigers to their first unbeaten regular season since 2012 and third straight 7A-West title.

OFFENSE

Earned all-state honors completing 171 of 291 passes for 2,089 yards with 15 TDs, while also rushing for 890 yards on 133 carries and 15 TDs.

RB, Jackson Norberg, Siloam Springs, Sr., 6-1, 180

Earned all-conference honors after he compiled 1,344 yards and 10 touchdowns on 251 carries this season.

RB, Preston Crawford, Bentonville High, Sr., 6-0, 190

All-state selection finished the season with 161 carries for 1,028 yds. and 23 TDs, as well as 19 receptions for 246 yds.

WR, Connor Flannigan, Fayetteville, Sr., 5-9, 166

All-state player who finished the season as the Bulldogs’ top receiving target with 66 receptions for 1,088 yards and 15 TDs.

WR, Mason Ross, Rogers High, Sr., 5-10, 185

All-state honoree who caught 95 passes for 1,301 yards and 18 TDs. He finished his career as the career leader in receptions (158) and receiving yards (2,385) at Rogers.

WR, Drew Sturgeon, Farmington, Sr., 6-0, 174

All-state performer caught 51 passes for 845 yds. and 12 TDs.

WR, Hunter Wood, Springdale Har-Ber, Sr., 6-2, 185

All-state player had 68 receptions for 1,103 yds., 15 TDs

OL, Zac Schaffer, Harrison, Sr., 6-1, 270

Two-year starter at center for the Goblins, was named to the 5A-West all-conference team.

OL, Payton Henderson, Springdale Har-Ber, Jr., 6-1, 265

Two-year starter for the Wildcats who earned all-state honors this season.

OL, RJ Long, Rogers High, Sr., 6-2, 290

A two-time all-state selection and three-year starter who shifted between guard and tackle and has signed with Air Force.

OL, Jack Burgess, Bentonville High, Sr., 6-1, 235

A two-year starter who earned all-state honors while leading the Tigers’ offensive line.

OL, Jaden Muskrat, Bentonville West, Sr., 6-4, 280

Moved from defensive line in the offseason and was named an all-state player; verbally committed to Tulsa.

K, Logan Turner, Bentonville High, Sr., 5-8, 190

All-state honoree who was successful on 47 of 49 extra-point attempts and 9 of 11 field-goal tries, including a longest of 43 yards.

DEFENSE

DL, Karsten Beneux, Alma, Sr., 5-11, 188

Had 48 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks, earned all-state honors.

DL, Jordan Hanna, Greenwood, Jr., 6-1, 195

All-state player was team’s second-leading tackler with 118.

DL, Melvin Kumwenda, FayettevilleSr., 6-1, 260

Earned all-state honors with 36 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 4 QB sacks

DL, Shawn Rogers, Fort Smith Southside, Jr., 5-11, 230

All-state player finished with 48 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 2 QB sacks.

LB, Brooks Both, Harrison, Sr., 6-0, 225

Named 5A-West’s outstanding lineman; recorded a team-high 115 tackles as well as 2.5 sacks, 2 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

LB, Jonas Higson, Bentonville West, Sr., 6-2, 225

All-state performer who shared the team lead with 6 quarterback sacks and finished third on the team with 81 tackles (55 solos, 26 assists), as well as two interceptions.

LB, Keegan Stinespring, Bentonville High, Jr., 5-10, 202

All-state selection who compiled a team-high 106 tackles, 5 quarterback sacks and forced 2 fumbles.

LB, Bryant Ulrich, Harrison, Sr., 5-11, 190

Earned all-state honors after finishing second on the team with 74 tackles, returned a fumble for a touchdown and had two interceptions.

DB, Levi Bennett, Bentonville High, Sr., 5-10, 150

All-state honoree who recorded 42 tackles, seven interceptions and 8 pass breakups.

DB, Jaiden Henry, Van Buren, Jr.

Earned all-state honors as a two-way player for the Pointers. He finished with 6 interceptions, 15 pass breakups and two defensive touchdowns, along with 30 tackles including two for loss and a sack. Henry also had 55 receptions for 703 yards and 4 TDs to go with 500 return yards and a touchdowns along with a rushing touchdown.

DB, Eli Martin, Greenwood, Sr., 6-0, 187

All-state player led the Bulldogs with 125 tackles.

DB, Montanya Parks, Fort Smith Northside, Sr., 6-2, 175

All-state performer had seven interceptions to go with 57 tackles.

P, Jackson Stewart, Greenwood, Sr., 5-9, 150

All-state player who punted 31 times for an average of 35.5 yards per punt and put five inside the opponents’ 20.
